Seascapes are one of my favourite subjects. Pastels are my favourite medium to paint them in. This course leads you through 3 step by step paintings of waves, sand and underpainting techniques. Each of the 3 modules will cover a certain aspect of painting seascapes with each lesson building on the last. Suitable for all levels as we start at the very beginning. There is unlimited time to watch the videos and you can watch them in your own time, anytime. You can also watch them as many times as you like. There is a comments section if you would like to ask any questions or get a critique of your work. Module 1: Step by step demo of a simple wave. This module takes you through how to make a wave turn and make water feel like it is moving. Module 2: Step by Step underpainting with watercolour. This second module takes you through how and why I underpaint with watercolour in my seascapes. Module 3: Step by Step Wet Sand. This 3rd module takes you through wet sand and how to get the layering right and letting the paper do some of the work.
